We’re revealing our latest scorecard this weekend – got your ticket?

Every year we produce a ‘scorecard’ to assess progress towards gender equality in the city region, with the goal of achieving equality across all areas by 2028.

On the 6th of February we’re holding an online event to launch our 2020 scorecard and to showcase the brilliant work that is being done to further gender equality across GM.

Featured speakers will include Joeli Brearley from Pregnant then Screwed, Helen Pankhurst, Andy Burnham Mayor of GM, Lucy Powell MP, Kate Green MP, representatives from the Pankurst Centre and Fawcett Society and more. And the event will round off with an online celebration, featuring performances from local artists including Carol-Ann Whitehead, Claire Mooney and Kelly Firth, and the unveiling of our GM4Women2028 artwork by Mancsy.

Join us for a look at where the pandemic year has left Greater Manchester in terms of our journey towards gender equality – and what we need to do to get back on track.

The event is free, but you’ll need to register: get your ticket now!
