Gender equality progress happens when people come together and discuss what’s really happening in their communities. That’s exactly what our monthly community meetings are about.
Each hourly, online session creates an open, welcoming space for people from across Greater Manchester to connect, reflect and contribute to the equality conversation. However you're involved in this work, your perspective matters.
Our May meeting is another opportunity to gather, to listen, to share and to learn from each other.
A space to connect and be heard
These meetings, held on the first Tuesday of every month, bring together women, girls and male allies from across the city region. They’re not formal presentations or one-way updates. They're multi-way conversations where experiences, ideas and challenges are explored respectfully.
What’s happening in your workplace, organisation or community? What are you seeing, hearing or questioning when it comes to gender equality? This is your chance to bring those insights into the conversation.
You see, when we take the time to listen to each other, patterns begin to emerge. We start to see where progress is happening and where more focus is needed.
Be part of the conversation
Our community is growing – and with it, the diversity of voices. By joining the conversation, you’re helping to ensure that gender equality in Greater Manchester is informed by real experiences and lived realities.
Please set aside the hour, bring your perspective and be part of something bigger:
