We report

Each year, we produce the Pankhurst-Fawcett Scorecard which collects data on the lived experiences of women and girls across Greater Manchester's ten boroughs. This data allows us to hold gender equality initiatives to account.

Our Pankhurst-Fawcett Scorecard acts as both a resource and a call to action, enabling us to track progress and monitor changes towards a more equitable future for all.

We facilitate

We're proud to co-facilitate the Greater Manchester Women and Girls' Equality Panel with The Pankhurst Trust.

Launched by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), this panel unites diverse women from across the region to address gender equality issues, amplify voices, influence policy and drive change, ensuring that the needs of women and girls in Greater Manchester are heard and acted upon.

We're led by

GM4Women2028 is a volunteer-led initiative driven by a team of passionate women who contribute their unique skills and expertise to advance gender equity.

Convened by Helen Pankhurst CBE – granddaughter of Sylvia and great granddaughter of Emmeline Pankhurst – GM4Women2028 continues the Pankhurst legacy of advocating for gender equality and social justice.

Our history

We were set up in 2018 with the aim of improving gender equality in our region by 2028.

We record and report data each year to track and monitor gender equality outcomes. This is published on the Pankhurst-Fawcett Scorecard.

We also plan annual Dialogue, Deeds & Determination and Reveal events to bring our community together and create something impactful.
