Join our October community meeting and get more active in our network

Meaningful change happens when people come together, share ideas and stay connected.

Our monthly community meetings are one of the ways we bring our network together. They’re a chance to hear what’s happening across Greater Manchester, meet others who care about creating a fairer, safer and more inclusive region for women and girls, and find out how you can get more involved.

A new monthly timeslot

Following our rescheduled September meeting, our community meetings will now take place on the second Tuesday of each month, at our usual time of 1.00pm. So, our October meeting will be:

📅 Tuesday 13th October

🕐 1.00pm – 2.00pm

💻 Online via Google Meet

Ready to get more involved?

You don't need to be an existing volunteer or campaigner to join us. Our community meetings are open to women, girls and male allies who are interested in the issues affecting women and girls.

Perhaps you’ve been following our work for a while but haven’t yet found a way to get involved. Maybe you have an idea you’d like to share, a project you’d like to tell us about or an experience that could help inform our work. Or you could simply want to meet more people who share your interest in creating positive change.

The community meeting is a great place to start by showing up, listening, sharing and finding out where your contribution could make a difference.

An informal space for connection and collaboration

Our meetings are deliberately informal. We make space for updates, discussions, questions, ideas and opportunities to collaborate. Every meeting is shaped by the people who join us, so you never quite know where a conversation might lead.

If you're able to take an hour out of your day to come along on 13th October, we very much look forward to welcoming you.
