Pareto Financial Planning backs Dialogue, Deeds & Determination event through community funding initiative

Pareto Financial Planning is sponsoring our Dialogue, Deeds & Determination event at Rochdale Library this Saturday 4th July through its community funding programme – and we couldn’t be happier.

As one of our lead sponsors, Pareto’s support will allow us to deliver an accessible event that brings together women, girls and male allies from across Greater Manchester to advance gender equality.

We’re incredibly grateful to Pareto’s Culture & Values Committee for recognising the importance of our work and helping make the event possible.

Putting values into action

At GM4Women2028, collaboration sits at the heart of everything we do. Lasting change happens when individuals and organisations from different sectors gather around a shared commitment to creating a fairer, safer and more equal society.

That ethos is reflected strongly within Pareto’s Culture & Values Committee – a diverse, cross-functional group of employees who shape its culture and ensure staff’s voices are reflected in decisions affecting both the workplace and wider community.

The committee leads activity across a range of areas including corporate social responsibility, wellbeing, environmental sustainability, community engagement and charitable giving. Through initiatives such as its community funding programme, Pareto supports projects that make a meaningful difference in the places where its employees live and work. GM4Women2028 has been selected as one of its recipients.

Supporting positive change across Greater Manchester

Since our launch in 2018, GM4Women2028 has worked to engender positive change for women and girls before the centenary of the Equal Franchise Act in 2028.

Dialogue, Deeds & Determination is a critical element of this goal by creating space for conversations, collaboration and action, ensuring that voices from across Greater Manchester can inform future priorities and solutions.

A natural partnership

Jo Walsh, Chair of Pareto's Culture & Values Committee, says:

"When we reviewed the application from GM4Women2028 and learned more about its work, it quickly became clear how closely the charity's aims align with our own commitment to supporting local communities.
We're incredibly proud to get behind Dialogue, Deeds & Determination and the work being undertaken to make Greater Manchester a more equitable region. We understand that significant progress has been made but there’s still much more to do. Creating opportunities, challenging inequalities and ensuring every woman and girl feels safe, valued and able to thrive remains vitally important, and we're pleased to play a part in realising that ambition."

Keeping the event free and accessible

One of the guiding principles behind Dialogue, Deeds & Determination is that everyone should be able to participate, regardless of financial circumstances. While attendance is free, there are significant costs involved in delivering an event of this scale. Support from Pareto enables us to remove barriers to participation and ensure that as many people as possible can contribute to the equality agenda.

Looking forward to Rochdale

The day will feature panel discussions, workshops, performances, networking and addresses from speakers and community representatives from across the city.

We're delighted to have Pareto Financial Planning alongside us as a lead sponsor and thank the organisation, its employees and the Culture & Values Committee for their support. Together, we're generating the conditions for meaningful conversations, stronger collaboration and lasting action.
