At GM4Women2028, data isn’t just numbers – it’s a catalyst for action, accountability and meaningful change. Each year, our Pankhurst–Fawcett Scorecard shines a crucial light on the progress (and setbacks) affecting women and girls across Greater Manchester.

In February, we’re proud to bring our community together once again for the 8th annual Scorecard Data Reveal & Celebration, an online event dedicated to connection, learning and determination.

Why this event matters

The Scorecard is our flagship research project – a yearly deep dive into the lived reality of women and girls across our city region. Using trusted data sources, it examines trends over time and highlights where progress is being made, where it’s stalling and where collective effort is urgently needed.

This event brings that data to life.

You’ll hear what the 2026 Scorecard tells us about gender equality in Greater Manchester today – and what needs to happen next as we move towards our 2028 gender equality goals.

What to expect

2026 brings you a dynamic and collaborative two-hour event including:

  • A full unveiling of the 2026 Pankhurst–Fawcett Scorecard: Get the latest insights into gender equality across Greater Manchester, with a clear look at how each area has evolved over time.

  • Interactive breakout discussions: Join focused breakout sessions aligned with our five thematic areas of Employment, Safety, Participation, Education, and Culture and Active Lives. Choose the theme that matters most to you – or the area where your work, experience or passion lies. Each session creates space for open discussion, shared learning and collaborative ideas.

  • A celebration of our collective work: Celebrate the organisations, volunteers, community members and advocates contributing to gender equality across Greater Manchester. Every voice, every action and every partnership strengthens the movement.

Who should attend?

Everyone is welcome – women, girls, male allies, community leaders, policymakers, volunteers, researchers, students, grassroots organisers and anyone interested in gender equality.

Whether you're deeply involved in activism or simply curious to learn more, this event offers a powerful and accessible way to engage.

Be part of the movement

The Pankhurst–Fawcett Scorecard is named in honour of two towering figures of Manchester’s feminist history – and each year, this event reaffirms what they stood for: the belief that data, determination and collective action can drive real social change.

Join us as we gather, listen, reflect and take the next steps together.
