We've secured a discounted group rate of £48.60 per person, reduced from the standard ticket price of £54, giving members of our network the ability to experience this musical together at a more affordable price.

Northern Grit, Sporting Glory – On Friday 25th September, Northern Grit, Sporting Glory is bringing together Olympic and Paralympic stars, business leaders and change makers to celebrate success, spark investment and show the world how Greater Manchester does women’s sport: with heart, grit and purpose. Data, Deeds & Determination 2027 – Save the date for 2027 as our annual Reveal event returns to showcase the latest Pankhurst-Fawcett Scorecards, reflect on progress and identify where action is needed. It’s taking place on Friday 5th February online.
Dialogue, Deeds & Determination 2027 – This is another save the date for 2027 as our flagship Dialogue event is back to create space for discussion, collaboration and shared learning to collectively accelerate the equality agenda. It’s being held on Saturday 3rd July in Bury.
🔦 Spotlight: Centenary Action partners with Nails.INC to celebrate Suffragette legacy
A new partnership between Nails.INC and Centenary Action is helping to mark the 98th anniversary of the Equal Franchise Act while supporting the ongoing drive for women's equal representation. The limited-edition nail polish collection features the iconic Suffragette colours of purple, white and green, with 50% of proceeds donated to Centenary Action, the charity founded by GM4Women2028 Convenor Helen Pankhurst CBE to advance women's political participation and representation.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Helen highlighted how the suffragettes used visual symbols to inspire action and bring people together around a common cause. The partnership is a timely reminder that while significant progress has been made since 1928, there is still work to do to achieve full equality.
📍 Opportunity for emerging women musicians
Women aged 18–25 with a passion for music are encouraged to apply for a free 12-week ‘Artist Development Programme for Women in Music’ delivered by Social Butterfly in collaboration with Foot Locker.
Designed for emerging artists, the programme develops song-writing and vocal production skills, builds confidence, connects with other women in music and allows learning from industry professionals in a supportive environment.
Beginning on 12th September, the programme culminates in a performance at the International Women's Day showcase. Applications close on 31st August 2026.
🗣️ Have your say: Help shape safer journeys for women across Greater Manchester
Women living, working or travelling in Greater Manchester are invited to take part in a new survey exploring experiences of safety and confidence on the region’s roads and transport networks.
Commissioned by Greater Manchester Combined Authority and led by researchers from The University of Manchester, the study will help identify barriers women face when travelling and inform practical improvements to safety, accessibility and inclusion.
The survey covers experiences of travelling by car, public transport, walking, running and cycling, as well as concerns about personal safety and road safety.
